Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me in any way at any time along my journey. I hope to make you all proud. I hope to have "Sarah's Day" tomorrow and do MY best. USA! USA! USA! USA!
Git it gurl! Let's see some awesome PRs! I'll try to watch but have been having connection problems the entire games. I will be following the meet via text though. A few of my friends will be in the audience routing for you and Holley.

ReplyDeleteThank you for being out there, doing things as a woman that people normally see as "men's stuff" and doing it well!
It was so great to watch you compete even if you didn't medal. I've started getting into weightlifting in the past year and you're such an inspiration to me. Thank you for bringing some insight on what you do!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job!! I was so psyched to watch! Also, going up in weight after not making an attempt was so awesome. I think I squealed and wouldn't shut up about it when you made it. You're such an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSarah - heck, i missed the live broadcast - hope you had fun even tho you didn't make the podium. We're all proud of you regardless of the outcome.
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job!! I was so psyched to watch! Also going up in weight after not making an attempt was amazing. I think I squealed and then wouldn't shut up about it after you made it. Such an inspiration!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on an excellent performance today, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah! Just saw your 145kg clean and jerk here in CA. I don't know much about weightlifting, but that was awesome! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI just watched you for the first time in the Olympics. I am soooooooo proud of you. (and glad you found a sponsor!).
ReplyDeleteYou have totally inspired me and my family. Thanks for putting the biggest smiles on our faces. All the best moving forward. Seriously. You deserve it.

Awesome job, Sarah! PERSONAL BEST at the OLYMPICS! You are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI just saw the NBC report on you and how hard it has been to support yourself. My question is, why can't the gym you train at, find something for you to do in off training time, to give you a job? Even answering the phone? Making a job up...
ReplyDeleteGood luck!! We're rootin' for you. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a new reader to your blog...just stopped by to say good job today! You really looked great up there - confident and professional. Congratulations! What an amazing accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading more on your blog.
Awesome!! I am so proud. Thank you for all your hard work. You are tremendously uplifting. I'll be watching for you in 2016.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Sarah! I didn't get to see your clean and jerk, but my husband and I were cheering along during the snatch section this morning and saw you SMOKE the 120kg lift--you made it look so easy.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! ::highfives::
You're an inspiration, Sarah! I am looking forward to seeing what you do in 2016.
ReplyDeleteWoo! Cheering you on from Australia, hope you get a new PB!
ReplyDeleteDamn, just googled it (thanks time differences) and you've competed. Brava to you for getting so far, and now onwards to the next Olympics! Hopefully you'll pick up some more sponsors for your journey. Thanks for being amazing and inspirational.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Olympic experience. Something few people get to experience. I am sure that 4 years from now you will take the event. I look forward to following you in the next 4 years of training. You have made all of us proud. You conducted yourself with honesty and dignity. I hope potential sponsors step up.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
I watched you lift. You did an amazing job!! You made it look easy
ReplyDeleteYou should be completely proud of yourself :D
NBC in New Hampshire didn't show your lifts (I swore at my computer and TV for hours). I followed and refreshed like crazy, though! And yelled *YES!* and cheered at my laptop.
ReplyDeleteStill trying to find video so I can see the amazing feat that is YOU in action.
Amazing job! 2016... that's your year!
